Embassy Springs Clubhouse sits centrally within the Embassy Springs development. Envisaged as the community centre of the development, the clubhouse explores the context of the 'town centre' and how this recreational and social complex can act as a proxy town centre for Embassy Springs residents.
Sports, community, social, retail, educational and welfare facilities are interwoven with outdoor spaces planned to encourage residents and members to create their own opportunities to suit their festive and community needs.
An adjoining man-made lake connects seamlessly to the Clubhouse with a naturally filtered bio-swimming pool. The building mass has been limited to a scale which responds to the surrounding houses rather than dominating the skyline. Spoil from the lake excavation is used to artificially manipulate the ground platform and reduce the need for construction transport.
