Stonehill International School

Bangalore, India

The School commissioned AFW to assist them in designing and implementing a long-term growth plan. The master plan included the addition of Sports, Cafeteria, Classrooms, Library, Science, Theatre and Boarding School Facilities. To date the construction of the Boarding School and cafeteria have been completed.

The Boarding School form took its reference from the ubiquitous form that is internationally considered as 'house'. The three storey structures with pitched roofs are arranged in a familial arrangement with a central free-form communal building holding centre stage.

Each block is identified externally and internally using colours derived from local flora and were named accordingly.
